Roof Replaced on 18-year-Old Home in Springfield, OR
Challenge
These homeowners contacted us to be one of the companies they received a roof replacement estimate from.
Solution
When our roofing Inspector visited their home, he actually climbed up on the roof using the ladder he brought. We want our clients to see photos and videos of their roof’s condition so they have facts to make decisions about how to proceed. Their home was built in 2002 and this was the original roof, so there were some issues.
Our Inspector also took photos with a special software program that uses the photos to create exact measurements (see the two photos) so that you then receive an exact proposal, and not a “back of the envelope” estimate. We don’t want our clients to be surprised later by a higher cost.
After they chose us to replace their roof “The Klaus Roofing Way,” we worked with the client to pick shingle colors, schedule deliveries, and schedule the work around the weather. Once we had a few days in a row of clear winter weather, our crew went to work!
They removed the original roof, repaired roofing boards that were starting to rot, and laid down the special underlayment that helps prevent leaks. The shingles were then delivered on to the house (see photo), and the crew re-roofed their home.
